Light Touch There are some situations when we don't need to light up the whole room. For example, you want to turn on the light for bathroom in the middle of the night, yet you don't want to wake up others. Or, you come back late and want to turn on the entrance light without disturbing anyone. Or, places such as stairs and hallway where you need light up the place you are standingc In those cases, you only need a faint light to light up around you. Also it is better to be easy controlling since you want to control the light in a dark place most of the time. So, we'd like to create the light that light up when you touch and change its brightness depend on how hard you press it. This wall-mounted light is about 10-inch height and possible to make it as long as you want. Since the surface would be covered with soft jelly-like silicon rubber, it would be pressure for people to touch. Operation is quite simple. Touch it when you want to light up, and it would light up only the area you touch. The harder you press, the brighter it gets. And the light would be guttered out when you release your hand. |

The other idea is the furniture with a light. This is the furniture, particularly for a couple, to set a romantic atmosphere. This furniture will light up only when two people sit together. At the first, the light is bright. Then, the longer two people sit, the dimmer the furniture gets. Imagine the situation, the couple drink a red wine of something. As they spend time longer and drink more wine, the light would be dimmer like artificial sunset. In addition, it also gets dimmer, when two people sit closer. This should help a couple be romantic! At first, we were thinking the light source would be inside of a table between two chairs and those chairs were touch sensors. Yet finding it would be too complicated, we came up with the idea to use a bench as both the light source and sensorc |
